How much does Slice charge pizzerias?
Slice sells two memberships to pizzerias. The Online Membership is $39 a month plus $3.00 per credit-card order, with card processing at 2.90% + $0.30. The Family Membership is $399 a month plus $2.00 per online or phone order (nothing on orders under $10), the same 2.90% + $0.30 processing, and a $1,000 implementation fee, and it includes a POS hardware kit. Both are month-to-month with no locked-in contract.
Every figure is from slice.com/pricing, read in September 2026. Slice's fees are paid by the pizzeria, not passed to the customer. Prices change; confirm on Slice's page before signing.
The two Slice memberships
The Online Membership covers a website, online ordering, a listing in the Slice app marketplace, Google listing management, loyalty rewards, automated marketing, integrations, 24/7 support and an owner's portal. The Family Membership adds the POS with a hardware kit (register, stand, payment terminal, cash drawer, receipt printer, kitchen printer and network kit), phone ordering, flex delivery, supplies at preferred pricing and an account manager.
| Membership | Monthly | Per-order fee | Card processing | One-time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Online | $39 | $3.00 per credit-card order | 2.90% + $0.30 | none listed |
| Family | $399 | $2.00 per online or phone order; none under $10 | 2.90% + $0.30 | $1,000 implementation |
Both memberships are described by Slice as month-to-month with "zero locked-in contracts."
What a $25 pizza order costs on Slice
The per-order fee is the number that matters for a pizzeria, because it is flat and pizza tickets are modest. On a $25 online order, the Online Membership takes $3.00 plus $1.03 in processing, $4.03 in total, which is 16% of the ticket before the $39 monthly fee is spread across orders. The Family Membership takes $2.00 plus $1.03, $3.03 or 12%, before the $399 monthly fee.
| On a $25 order | Per-order fee | Processing | Total | Share of ticket | Plus monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slice Online Membership | $3.00 | $1.03 | $4.03 | 16% | $39 |
| Slice Family Membership | $2.00 | $1.03 | $3.03 | 12% | $399 |
| Your own ordering site (Ginger Direct) | $1.00, paid by the guest | about $0.55 at 2% + 5¢ | about $0.55 to the restaurant | about 2% | $0 |
Ginger's $1 is charged to the guest at checkout; the restaurant pays processing only. Ginger's processing is interchange-plus, as low as 2% + 5¢, and moves with card mix.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Slice Online Membership cost?
$39 a month plus $3.00 per credit-card order, with card processing at 2.90% + $0.30, per slice.com/pricing in September 2026. It includes a website, online ordering, the Slice app marketplace listing, Google listing management, loyalty and marketing tools, and support, but no hardware or phone ordering. It is month-to-month.
What does the Slice Family Membership cost?
$399 a month plus $2.00 per online or phone order, with no per-order fee on orders under $10, card processing at 2.90% + $0.30, and a $1,000 implementation fee. It includes the POS with a hardware kit, phone ordering, flex delivery, supplies at preferred pricing and an account manager, on a month-to-month basis.
Is Slice commission-free?
Slice does not charge a percentage commission on the order; it charges a flat per-order fee of $3.00 (Online) or $2.00 (Family) plus card processing at 2.90% + $0.30 and a monthly membership. On a $25 pizza the Online Membership's fee and processing total $4.03, about 16% of the ticket, so "no commission" does not mean low cost per order.
Does Slice require a contract?
No. Slice describes both memberships as month-to-month with zero locked-in contracts. The Family Membership does carry a one-time $1,000 implementation fee.
How does Slice compare with taking orders on your own site?
On a $25 order Slice's Online Membership costs the pizzeria $4.03 in per-order fee and processing plus $39 a month; a Ginger Direct order costs the pizzeria only card processing, about $0.55 at 2% + 5¢, because the $1 platform fee is paid by the guest, and the software is $0 a month. Slice also lists your pizzeria in its consumer app, which is a discovery benefit an own-site channel does not provide.
Once you know the cost
Most restaurants keep the marketplace for discovery and move repeat guests to a channel they own. Ginger Direct is that channel: your own ordering site, $0 a month, orders printing to the printers you already have, and a $1 per-order fee the guest pays.
